A Collaborative Approach to Business
Welcome to the Business Alliance of George Mason University (Business Alliance), where the area's finest industry and academic minds work together to educate a new generation of leadership, develop new approaches to business and stimulate economic growth.
The Business Alliance provides a forum for business leaders, faculty and students to collaborate, network, and exchange ideas—preparing present and future leaders to overcome the marketplace's challenges.
Established in 1988 to enhance the educational opportunities of Mason's business students, the Business Alliance (formerly the Century Club of George Mason University) has evolved into the Washington, DC area's premier business-university partnership. A rich and varied organization, the Business Alliance means different things to its different constituencies. The Business Alliance provides
- an opportunity for executives to share their experience in the classroom—teaching, mentoring and shaping tomorrow's business leaders.
- a forum in which faculty and business leaders can interact, airing fresh perspectives, sharing the latest research, and discuss how theory can be applied to real-world business challenges.
- access to top business minds, providing fresh perspectives and invaluable insights into the world of business.
- an opportunity for businesses to develop high-level relationships and to explore new opportunities.
Business Alliance members share a common interest in higher education, economic development and business growth. They believe the time and expertise they share on and off campus with fellow business leaders, Mason faculty and students benefits all parties through the exchange of ideas and the development of new opportunities.
