Dr. David M. Abshire, President and CEO, Center for the Study of the Presidency

Dr. Abshire is a graduate of West Point, former NATO Ambassador, and the recipient of four honorary doctorates, most recently from Georgetown University. He founded the Center for Strategic and International Studies in 1962, and his career spans more than four decades of public service here in Washington. Dr. Abshire has just published the highly acclaimed A Call to Greatness: Challenging our Next President in which he examines how our next President can learn from the experience of past Presidents.
