Panelists include representatives from Federal, Virginia and Maryland gap funding programs, as well as a company that has first-hand experience with these programs. Gap funding programs exist to assist where gaps exist between the SBIR/STTR program and the agency's procurement cycle, or where the necessary technology otherwise requires additional funding to achieve procurement readiness. Attendees also will learn about local programs through which up to to $100,000 can be available to early-stage companies with a high potential for technology commercialization, rapid growth and downstream private equity financing.

Panelists:
Raymond Dizon - Maryland DBED
Tom Weithman - Virginia CIT
Martin Jackson - Office of Naval Research
